This week Chocolates Reading group read about Diwali which is the Hindu Festival of the Lights celebrated on October 30th. Rangoli is an art form from India that is done during Diwali. Patterns are created on the floor of living rooms and courtyards using materials such as coloured rice, coloured sand and chalk. We had fun making our own Rangoli designs with chalk outside TKM!
