Today Marshmellow reading group had a workshop in the Glass Elevator. We brainstormed all the information we had learnt about Captain Cook and another group brainstormed what they had learnt about the Pacific Islands.

More maths...
These amazing children from the Triangles maths group have been turning addition problems into multiplication equations. They have drawn their equations onto whiteboards.

We used cubes to make groups of 2 then we put them on the squares on our cards. We wrote the number of 2s and then wrote the times table. For example 2+2+2 =6 so that's 3 groups of 2 which is written as 3x2=6

Tararua 2 Swimming Sports
Today was Tararua 2 Swimming Sports! It was a little cold but the children did amazingly well and quickly moved through the events. Thank you to those parents/whanau who came along to support the children.
